This report 102 presents the results of SARS-CoV-2 contamination of wastewater at the entrance of the 13 wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) analysed during the week 43 of 2021. The WWTPs of Hespérange and Boevange were analysed only once this week.
The SARS-CoV-2 RNA flux measured in WWTPs this week continue to show a high national prevalence of the virus, with a SARS-CoV-2 flux between 6.1 and 8.5 x 1011 RNA copies per day per 100,000 equivalentinhabitants. These last results confirm a slow but significant increase of the flux during this last month.
An overall similar trend is observed for most of the wastewater treatment plants analysed. Wiltz remains at a high level.
