This report 66 presents the results of SARS-CoV-2 contamination of wastewater at the entrance of eleven wastewater treatment plants analysed at the beginning of the week 16 of 2021.
The flux of SARS-CoV-2 RNA measured in wastewater treatment plants at the beginning of the week 16 indicates a high prevalence of the virus in wastewater nationwide, with an increasing trend in comparison to previous week. The level of SARS-CoV-2 contamination observed is of the same order of magnitude as that observed two-three weeks ago.
The same trend is observed at the level of each wastewater treatment plant individually.
Next samplings will confirm or not the observed dynamics.
