This report 63 presents the results of SARS-CoV-2 contamination of wastewater at the entrance of the 13 wastewater treatment plants analysed during the week 14 of 2021.
The flux of SARS-CoV-2 RNA measured in wastewater treatment plants during the week 14 indicates a still high prevalence of the virus in wastewater nationwide, with an apparent decreasing trend in comparison to previous week. However, the average values at the national level remain in the same range that those obtained during the last three weeks. At the level of each wastewater treatment plant, a slightly decreasing trend is also observed for most of them.
Next sampling will confirm or not the observed dynamics.
